It is a pleasure for me to extend personally, as well as on behalf of the Mesic
Board of Aldermen and the citizens of our Town, a most cordial welcome to
the Mesic website. We are pleased and honored that you have chosen to
visit our Town. We hope you will find the time to come and explore Mesic,
North Carolina, founded in 1710. This predonimently African American community
was started in the early 1860's, became and incorporate Town in 1976.
